Which kind of tool do you need?
- The agent promises money and you need to know it moved correctly: a ledger check. Recoup matches each promise to the Shopify order and the Stripe refund.
- The agent says things you need graded: a conversation QA tool such as Oversai, EvaluAgent or Scorebuddy.

Recoup in detail
Recoup reads the tickets an AI support agent closed (Gorgias AI Agent, Intercom Fin, Zendesk AI agents and any help desk that exports tickets), finds every refund, partial refund, store credit, discount or replacement the agent promised, and checks each one against Shopify and Stripe. It flags promises never issued, refunds issued twice, wrong amounts and anything outside your written policy. It is read-only and never moves money, and each finding links to the sentence in the ticket and the ledger line behind it.
Honest limits: Recoup is new and has no customer results yet. It checks money, not tone or accuracy, so it does not replace conversation QA.
What we left out
MaestroQA and Playvox are often listed next to these tools. When we checked on 19 October 2026, MaestroQA's address opened a different brand's site and Playvox's opened a sign-in page, so we could not describe either from its own public page.
